BASIC OPERATION
■ Audio mute function
This function temporarily mutes the audio without disturbing
the volume setting.
• This function is for both the MAIN and SUB bands.
Push [
]( ) to mute audio signals.

• "MUTE" appear on the left and right bands.
• Push [ ]( ) (or any other key) to cancel the function.
■ Monitor function
This function is used to listen to weak signals without disturb-
ing the squelch setting.
• This function is for the MAIN band.

• "BUSY" blinks when the squelch is open.

■ Setting the microphone gain

Set the microphone gain level in the MENU mode.
