4.6 Analog Board (A3) (5162062)

The Analog Board assembly, A3, has the following functions:
CPLD to decode and encode the logic information to and from the Controller DSP.
CPU to monitor the Auxiliary power sources, control the current scaling network and report to
the DSP the number of power sources in the power system.
Current Scaling network to normalize the current measurement signal for the number of power
sources in the power system.
Analog and digital interfaces for the System Interface and all direct analog and digital input and
outputs.
Isolation between the Controller and the Power Output Amplifiers.
Error Amplifier for each of the three phase Power Output Amplifiers.
Analog switches to steer analog signals for Master, Auxiliary, 1 and 3-phase outputs.
Analog to TRMS digital converter for each of the three external inputs.
Power supply steering for supplemental supplies.
High voltage, 3-phase sense amplifier for External Voltage Sense input

4.7 Auxiliary Power Supply (A8) (5162048)

This assembly generates six low voltage outputs. These regulated outputs from the auxiliary
power supply provide logic power to all the modules.
a) +15V. 0.67A for Controller, Analog and Keyboard/ Display assemblies and indirectly for the
Remote Interface assembly.
b) -15V. 0.67A for Controller and Analog Board assemblies.
c) +15V, 2.7A for all Output Amplifier auxiliary supplies.
d) -15V, 0.67A for all Output Amplifier auxiliary supplies.
e) +5V, 0.1A for all Output Amplifier auxiliary supplies.
f)
Variable 12 to 24 Vdc, 3A for both fans.
All the supplies c), d) and e) have a common ground. All other supplies have grounds that are
isolated from all other supplies.
