Get PT-8000A ready to update
The Start button is now set to active (black font) and thus the update
program is ready for program transfer
( continue with chapter A2.8 Get PT-8000A ready to update).
If in the Open dialog box no program will be selected (by clicking Cancel), the
following message will be displayed:
In this case the Start button remains inactive (grey font).
Using the Exit button, the update program may be terminated at any
time.
Each PT-8000A CPU is upgraded separately. The file names give clues to the
CPU, as well as the version number:
CPU
MAIN CPU
RX CPU
ANT-Tuner CPU
Once the PC is ready for the update, now the PT-8000A needs to be set to the
update standby mode.
1. Pushing MENU button located in the cluster DISPLAY:
