ALERT INTERVAL: Enter the interval between e-mail alerts. The interval can be between
0 and 60 minutes. The option is useful for the frequent event condition. It will ignore any
event triggers during the interval period.
AUTH LOGIN: If the SMTP server needs authentication, enable this option and enter the
valid username and password.

4.3.2 FTP
You can also send the captured still image to a remote FTP server for alerts.
FTP CLIENT MODE: Enable the FTP function.
SERVER URL/IP: Enter the host name or IP address of the FTP Server.
PORT: Enter the port number of the FTP Server. Or keep the default value 21.
USERNAME: Enter a valid user name to log into the FTP Server.
PASSWORD: Enter a valid password to log into the FTP Server.
REMOTE DIR: Enter the name of the storage folder on the FTP Server.
FTP SERVER MODE: Enable the GV-Compact DVR V2 to act as a FTP Server, allowing
users to download the AVI files.
PORT: Modify the port of the built-in FTP Server. Or keep the default value 21.
