Introduction

The Anti-Vibration ACC models are designed to control the operation of GV-Compact DVR
through the ACC wire from your vehicle. When you turn on the ignition, the GV-Compact DVR
will not start up immediately but do start after 5 seconds. After you turn off the ignition, the
GV-Compact DVR will continue operating for 30 seconds, during which it will stop recording,
removing the hard disk from the system and then shut down automatically.
The ACC design provides a protection against sudden power surge and outage which
can cause failure of the GV-Compact DVR and the hard disk, corruption of data on the
hard disk and other unexpected errors.
Since each vehicle differs in design, refer to the owner's manual of your vehicle for
details and carefully follow the safety measures. If you are unsure about how to carry
out the ACC connection, have the installation done by a properly trained technician.
