6.3.1 E-mail

After a trigger event, the GV-Compact DVR V2 can send the e-mail to a remote user
containing a captured still image.
[Enable] Select to enable the e-mail function.
Sever URL/IP Address: Type the URL or IP address of the SMTP server.
Server Port: Type the SMTP server's port number. Or keep the default value 25.
From email address: Type the sender's e-mail address.
Send to: Type the e-mail address(s) you want to send alerts to.
Alerts interval time in minute: Specify the interval between e-mail alerts. The interval
can be between 0 and 60 minutes. The option is useful for the frequent event condition. It
will ignore any event triggers during the interval period.
[Need authentication to login] If the SMTP server needs authentication, select this option
and type the valid username and password.
[This server requires a secure connection] If the SMTP Servers needs a secure
connection (SSL), select this option.
[Email-Alarm Settings] You can choose to automatically send still images via e-mail for alarm
notification under these conditions: video lost, tampering alarm, disk write error (Rec Error), hard disk
full (HD full), motion detection and triggered input.
Video Lost / Tampering Alarm / Motion Detection: Once a motion is detected, the video is lost
or the camera is being tampered on the selected camera, a still image will be sent via an e-mail
as a notification.
