Oil Pump Installation - Honda CBR954RR 2002 Service Manual

LUBRICATION SYSTEM
Install the outer and inner rotors into the oil p u m p
rotor with its body.

Install the oil pump shaft through the inner rotor and
the pump
oil pump body.
cover.
Install the drive pin into the hole in the p u m p shaft
and align the pin with the groove i n the inner rotor as
shown.
Install the thrust washer.
Install the dowel pins.
Install the oil pump cover and tighten the assembly
bolt t o the specified torque.
TORQUE: 8
Check the oil pump operation
shaft.
If necessary, reassemble the oil pump.
INSTALLATION
Install the oil p u m p into the crankcase while aligning
the pump shaft lug with the water pump shaft groove.
Install and tighten the three flange bolts securely.
