Testing the system

Before testing, we recommend that you close the panel cabinet door and the covers on all modules (mounted
outside the cabinet.) The testing environment should match the system working environment.
You should test the system after installation or service and after adding or removing devices from the system.

Testing the system includes:

• Central station/pager communication
• Outputs and sirens
• Light control
• Energy saver module (ESM)
• Fixed display LCD touchpad chime and trouble beep tones
