show vrrp

vrrp authentication

Use this command to configure the string for VRRP authentication
on the interface. Restore the default with the no command.
Interface configuration
vrrp <group> authentication <string>
no vrrp <group> authentication
<group>
<string>
No authentication with the authentication string being null
If the authentication is not passed, router will take the message
send from another side as illegal and discard it. Both parties don't
receive another side message for a long time and take itself as
Master. Therefore, authentication is not recommended.
This example describes how to configure the VRRP authentication
with the authentication string being hello.
ZXR10(config)#interface vlan 1
ZXR10(config-if)#vrrp 1 authentication hello
show vrrp

vrrp ip

Use this command to configure the VRRP virtual IP address on the
interface and run the CRRP protocol. Clear the setting with the no
command.
Interface configuration
vrrp <group> ip <ip-address>[secondary]
no vrrp <group>[ip <ip-address>]
<group>

Chapter 6 VRRP Configuration
Virtual router ID, 0 ~ 255
Authentication string, 1 ~ 8
Virtual router ID, 1 ~ 255
IP address in the dotted decimal notation
The other IP address supported by this
virtual router, that is, the secondary virtual IP
address. If this parameter is not used, it is
the primary virtual IP address.
