The default value is standard.
Standard forwarding mode will comply with DHCP protocol. After
user acquires the corresponding IP address, DHCP process will not
deal with the following mutual unicast, such as do not execute
safety inspection. Meanwhile, write ARP table function will not
take an effect on standard mode
Standard forwarding model will have better performance in many
clients because that standard forwarding mode will not deal with
the following mutual unicast
Security forwarding mode with DHCP standard protocol and ZTE
patent technology execute DHCP user and external DHCP SERVER
all mutual control and management, such as safety inspection. As
a result, DHCP can disposes in all DHCP mutual activity. Mean-
while, support ARP function.

This example describes how to set the external DHCP server ad-
dress of the fei_2/1 interface to 192.200.100.254.

ip dhcp relay server retry

Use this command to configure the times that DHCP Relay send
apply to external DHCP Server. Use command no to recover de-
fault retry times.
Global configuration
ip dhcp relay server retry <limit-value>
no ip dhcp relay server retry
<limit-value>
The default is 10.
This example describes how to configure the retry times as 20
applied by DHCP Server from DHCP Relay.
