multilink-group

Use this command to bind the current link to the specified MPPP
interface. Cancel the binding with the no form of this command.
Interface configuration
multilink-group <multilink-number>
no multilink-group
<multilink-number>
It is applied to ZXR10 GAR and ZXR10 ZSR.
This example describes how to bind the link through e1_1/1.1 to
multilink1 of the specified MPPP interface.
ZXR10(config)#interface e1_1/1.1
ZXR10(config-if)#multilink-group multilink1

ppp authentication

Use this command to configure the PPP authentication type. Can-
cel the settings with the no form of this command.
Interface configuration
ppp authentication {pap | chap}
no ppp authentication
pap
chap
The authentication type is not configured by default
PAP refers to password authentication protocol, and the password
is in simple text.
The PAP authentication process is as follows:
1. The party to be authenticated sends the user name and pass-
word to the authenticating party.
2. The authenticating party checks whether this user name ex-
ists and whether the password is correct according to the user
configuration, and then returns a response accordingly.
CHAP is thrice handshake authentication, and the password is the
key.
The process of CHAP authentication is as follows:
1. The authenticating party sends some random packets (Chal-
lenge) to the authenticated party.
Multilink interface number, such as multilink3
Specifies the PAP (Password Authentication
Protocol) authentication
Specifies the CHAP (Challenge Handshake
Authentication Protocol) authentication
