Operating Environment
This section explains the minimum computer system requirements for a
Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003 printer driver. Before installing a printer
driver, check to make sure that your computer conforms to the minimum
requirements. If it doesn't, the printer driver may not function properly.

Installing a Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003 Printer Driver
Perform the steps below to install a Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003 printer
driver.
Note
In order to install a printer driver, you must be logged into with
administrator privileges.
Before starting to install a printer driver, be sure first to quit all other
applications.
