6 Configuring PostScript Printer Driver
Properties for Windows 98 and Me
This chapter provides detailed explanations of all the machine-specific
printer settings of the PostScript printer driver properties on a computer
running Windows 98 or Windows Me.
Important!
Note that this section covers printer driver settings that are specific to
this machine only.
The remaining PostScript driver settings are standards settings
covered by Help. This means you can find out about a setting by
clicking the
box, and then clicking on an item. This will display a window that
describes that item.

Using PostScript Printer Driver Properties Tabs

The following table explains which tab you should select to perform
specific tasks. For a detailed description of all the settings on a tab, go to
the indicated reference page.
Note
See Chapter 2 for information about how to display printer driver
properties.
Note that the settings that can be configured on the properties dialog
box depends on the printer driver you are using.
When you want to do this:
• Specify what options are installed on the machine
• Configure printer features
• Specify page orientation, duplex settings, paper
source, the number of copies, and the number of
pages per sheet
• Specify resolution and scaling, and configure
halftoning settings
