PANEL DESCRIPTION
■ Programmable function keys
The followng functons can be assgned to [Top], [Side1],
, , and
optonal CS-41S
cloning software
The key functon actvates after pushng [Function] when
the programmable functon key s assgned to the functon
mode operaton.
If the programmable functon names are bracketed n the fol-
lowng explanatons, the specfic key s used to actvate the
functon depends on the programmng.
Scan/Scan Tag
➥ Push to start/stop the scan.
➥ Push and hold for 2 sec. to set or clear the dsplayed
channel as a TAG channel.
Scan Mode/Rpt Scan
➥ Push to select the scan mode.
➥ Push and hold for 2 sec. to start repeater scan.
PRIO/PRIO Set
➥ Push to select the prorty channel.
➥ Push and hold for 2 sec. to set the dsplayed channel as
the prorty channel.

S-Ring/PRIO Clear
➥ Push to transmt the Smart-Rng call.
• When RX channel s selected, "N/A" appears.
➥ Push and hold for 2 sec. to cancel the prorty channel set-
tng.
Monitor/TSQL
(Ths key functon can be assgned n the Normal mode only.)
➥ Push to toggle the montor functon ON or OFF.
➥ Push and hold for 2 sec. to actvate the followng functons
n order.
• Subaudble tone encoder and Tone squelch/DTCS squelch
• Pocket beep
• No tone operaton.
RF Power/Lock
➥ Push to toggle the transmt output power level.
➥ Push and hold for 2 sec. to toggle key lock functon ON
and OFF.
TX Code CH/Call
➥ Push to enter the TX code channel selecton mode, then
push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select the desred channel
(CB channel operaton only).
➥ Push and hold for 2 sec. to transmt the specfied SelCall
TX code n the selected channel (CB channel operaton
only).
