PANEL DESCRIPTION
■ Programmable function keys
The followng functons can be assgned to [UP], [DOWN],
[P0], [P1], [P2], [P3] and [P4] programmable functon keys.
Consult your Icom dealer or system operator for detals con-
cernng your transcever's programmng.
If the programmable functon names are bracketed n the fol-
lowng explanatons, the specfic key s used to actvate the
functon, dependng on the pre-programmed settngs.
INFORMATION:
Dependng on the pre-programmed settngs, the pro-
grammed functon for [P0], [P1], [P2] or [P3] s assgned
to [A], [B], [C] or [D] of the optonal HM-152T, respec-
tvely. Ask your dealer for detals.
CHANNEL UP, CHANNEL DOWN
➥ Push to select an operatng channel.
➥ As descrbed n the followng topcs, after pushng a pro-
grammed key, push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select an
opton, settng, etc.
ZONE
Push ths key, then push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select the
desred zone.
What is "zone"?—Certan channels are grouped together
and assgned to a zone, accordng to ther ntended use.
For example, 'Staff A' and 'Staff B' are assgned to a "Bus-
ness" zone, and 'John' and 'Cndy' are assgned to a "Pr-
vate" zone.

ZONE UP, ZONE DOWN
Push to select an operatng zone.
SCAN
➥ Push to start or cancel a scannng operaton.
• When a scan s started by the Power ON Scan or Automatc
Scan functon, push ths key to cancel the scan. The cancelled
scan resumes after the pre-programmed tme perod.
➥ Hold down ths key for 1 second to dsplay the scan group,
then push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select the desred one.
SCAN ADD/DEL (TAG)
➥ Push to add the selected channel to, or delete t from, the
scan group.
1. Push to dsplay the scan group, and then push [CH Up] or
[CH Down] to select the desred one.
2. Push to add the channel to, or delete t from, the selected scan
group.
3. Hold down for 1 second to ext the scan group selecton mode.
➥ Whle a scan s paused on a non-prorty channel, push ths
key to delete the selected channel from the scan group.
Dependng on the pre-programmed settngs, the cleared
channel s added to the scan group agan after the scan
s cancelled. (Nusance Delete functon)
