WARRANTY AND PRODUCT REGISTRATION

ICOM LIMITED WARRANTY
Icom Incorporated s proud of ts advanced technology and the hgh
qualty of workmanshp and components ncluded n the producton
of every product.
Icom (Australa) Pty. Ltd., the authorsed Icom Dstrbutor, warrants
ths Icom product wthn Australa to be free from defects n materal
or workmanshp for the applcable perod ndcated below:
• Radios:
Two (2) years from the date of purchase, (excludng acces-
sores), when purchased from an Australan authorsed Icom
Dealer.
• Accessories:
One (1) year from the date of purchase, when purchased from
an Australan authorsed Icom Dealer.
(.e. battery, antenna, battery chargers etc)
Icom (Australa) Pty. Ltd. wll, at ts dscreton, and subject to the
terms and condtons stated below, repar or replace any goods or
component parts whch after examnaton are found to be defectve.
Unless otherwse expressly provded, any fault arsng from defectve
workmanshp or materal shall be rectfied by Icom where the equp-
ment s returned freght prepad to Icom, Servce Dept. Unt 1/103

This warranty shall not apply:
(a) To an Icom Product whch has faled due to mproper nstal-
laton, msuse, accdent, alteraton or unauthorsed repar or
modficaton.
(b) If any seral number or dentfcaton plate attached to the
goods has been altered, rendered llegble, or removed
(c) If the goods have been damaged by corroson, deteroraton
or the lke contrbuted to abnormal temperatures; the nfluence
of foregn matter or energy or physcal or chemcal propertes
of water, steam or chemcal compounds.

Pty Ltd to an authorzed Dealer of Icom (Australa) Pty. Ltd.
Please check with us if you feel an Icom product is being
offered for sale that has been sourced from other than
Icom (Australia) Pty Ltd.
WARRANTY SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS
1. If you are experencng dffculty wth your Icom equpment
return t to Icom (Australa) Pty. Ltd., preferably n the orgnal
carton, wthout accessores and nclude a bref explanaton of
the dffculty you are experencng. Although we take the ut-
most care Icom (Australa) Pty. Ltd. shall assume no lablty for
the loss or safe return of an accessory tem.
2. Include accessores only f your specfc stuaton ndcates
an accessory related dfficulty exsts. It s mportant to temse
these accessores on the note of explanaton.
3. If the requested repars or servce are wthn the terms of the
warranty, your equpment wll be repared and returned prepad
to any desgnated pont wthn Australa. The freght carrer s
at the opton of Icom (Australa) Pty Ltd.
4. If the requested repars or servce are not wthn the terms of
warranty or f you fal to provde acceptable evdence of the
date of purchase you wll be contacted wth a quote to repar
your equpment. Return freght wll be charged n ths nstance.
5. All equpment returned under warranty must be freght prepad.
Freght collect packages wll not be accepted.
The benefits conferred by ths warranty are n addton to all mpled
warrantes, other rghts and remedes n respect of the product
whch the consumer has under the Trade Practces Act and smlar
State and Terrtory Laws.
