■ Repeater search scan
The repeater search scan s not only searchng for a sgnal
on the repeater channels, but also access a repeater by
transmttng automatcally n sequence.
Thus the repeater search scan functon searches an aval-
able repeater n the area even f the repeater s not n use.
The repeater search scan detects a sgnal on the repeater
output channels (CB-R1 to CB-R8)* only. Therefore, re-
peater avalablty cannot be guaranteed even the re-
peater scan s stopped, because the scan wll stop f any
actvty s detected. (The scan s cancelled when recevng
a sgnal, such as statons communcatng n smplex oper-
aton on a repeater output channel.)
*Excludes Emergency Repeater 'CB-R5.'
q Select the desred repeater output channel ('CB-R1' to
'CB-R8'), and push and hold
start the repeater search scan.

w When recevng a sgnal on the repeater channel, scan stops.
• Durng second cycle scannng, 3 hgh beeps sound when recevng
a sgnal, and 3 low beeps sound when no sgnal recevng.
e Push
to cancel the scan manually.
