D Using the keypad

The frequency can be directly set using the nu-
meric keys.
• If a frequency outside the transceiver's frequency
range is entered, the previously displayed fre-
quency is automatically recalled after entering the
last digit.
q Push [V/M/C] to select the VFO mode, if any
other mode is selected.
w Enter the desired frequency with the keypad.
• Entering 145.500 MHz
• Changing 10 MHz and below Editing 445.560 MHz to 432.380 MHz
• Changing 1 MHz and below
• Changing 100 kHz and below Editing 145.500 MHz to 145.640 MHz
Editing 145.500 MHz to 144.640 MHz
BASIC OPERATION
Depending on the
tuning step setting, it
may not be possible to
input a 1 kHz digit. In
this case, enter "0" as
a 1 kHz digit, then ro-
tate [DIAL] to set the
desired frequency.
Push to cancel numeral key input.
