REPEATER AND DUPLEX OPERATIONS
■ Repeater operation
When using a repeater, the transmit frequency is shifted from
the receive frequency by the frequency offset
called duplex operation. It is convenient to program repeater
information into memory channels

U.S.A. and Korean versions:
The auto repeater function uses standard values of the
repeater tone frequency and frequency offset.

How to set aicom t70a to repeater
To set the Icom IC-T70A to repeater mode:
1. Set the receive frequency (repeater output frequency).
2. Set the shift direction of the transmit frequency (-DUP or +DUP).
3. Push [PTT] briefly, then push and hold [PTT] again for 1 to 2 seconds to transmit a 1750 Hz tone burst signal (if required).
4. If "OFF" appears, check the frequency offset or shift direction.
