• The sixteen serial ports are pre-configured by default in Console Server mode for the B096-016 / B096-048 Console
Server Management Switch or in UPS (PowerAlert) mode for the B092-016 Console Server with PowerAlert product. To
change these settings, select Configure, which will load the local Firefox browser and run the Management Console. You
can then reconfigure the serial ports as detailed in Chapter 4

16.1.1 Connect: Serial Terminal

• Select Connect: Serial on the control panel and click on the desired serial port. A window will be created with a
connection to the device on the selected serial port:
