Pen settings can be changed in the Pen menu. You can change the default width
and pattern for each pen number. These settings apply to all vector languages:
HP-GL, HP-GL/2 and Calcomp.
Defining the default pen settings
Open the 'Pen menu' card in the 'Language' section (see figure 67).

Press the 'Pen number' function button.

The default pen settings will be used, unless they are overruled by settings
sent by the printer driver with the print job.
