Printer fault messages

E14 Front Cover B Open Close Front Cover B
1. Close the cover.
2. Inspect the switch and ensure the switch's actuator is not broken.
3. Test the front cover open switch using the sensor test described in "Switch
scan test" on page 63.
4. Inspect the switch's wiring harness.
5. Replace the engine controller board.
EA Black Drum Missing Reseat Drum, Power
Off/On
EB Cyan Drum Missing Reseat Drum, Power
Off/On
EC Magenta Drum Missing Reseat Drum, Power
Off/On
ED Yellow Drum Missing Reseat Drum, Power
Off/On
1. Remove and install the drum unit.
2. Inspect the spring-loaded drum contact assembly. Ensure they are clean
and move up and down freely. Remove the assembly and reseat it, if
necessary.
3. Replace the engine controller board.
4. Replace the printer unit chassis
EE Transfer Belt Missing Reseat Belt, Power
Off/On
1. Remove and re-install the transfer belt unit.
2. Clean the transfer belt unit's contact on the front-left side of the engine
chassis. Clean the corresponding contacts on the transfer belt unit.
3. Install a new transfer belt unit.
4. Replace the engine controller board.
5. Replace the printer unit chassis.
EF Fuser Missing Reseat Fuser, Power Off/On
1. Remove and reinstall the fuser.
2. install a new fuser.
3. Replace the low-voltage power supply.
4. Replace the engine controller board.
