C Precautions and Limitations
descrption
When an IPP print job is received via
proxy server, the conditions could occur.
When using the Limit on IP Receiving,
handle it by the following method:
(1) Stop activation of the IPP port.
(2) When setting the receiving
permission, set without the proxy
server, if necessary.
(3) When setting the receiving
permission, set by including the
address of the proxy server included,
if necessary.
While the setting of network (without
network expansion card) is being
displayed on the network utility, the
conditions could occur when the
machine goes into power-saving mode
(Mode 2). When changing the setting,
care should be taken not to let the
machine go into power-saving mode
(Mode 2) through this method:
(1) Nullify power-saving mode (Mode 2).
(2) Change the setting before going into
power-saving mode (Mode 2).
-
This limit is ascribable to the NetWare
server. Use as it is, because it is not a
fault.
