Setting
Allows the user to input the Device E-mail Address up to 63
Device E-mail
bytes of alphanumeric characters. When the user sends an

email to the Device, it should be sent to this Address. This
address is displayed at "From" in the receiver's email.
Allows the user to input the IP Address of outgoing mail server

connected on SMTP protocol.

Displays one of the following 5 messages according to the

• Disabled
State of stopping the SMTP/POP3 port.
• Connection in Progress
State from when the SMTP/POP3 port has been activated
to the start of sending (SMTP)/receiving (POP3) of the first
mail.
• Connecting...
State from when sending (SMTP)/receiving (POP3) of mail
has started (connected with the server) to completion
(disconnected from the server).
• Ready
State of not normally completing sending (SMTP)/receiving
(POP3) of mail. This state remains the same until a
subsequent sending/receiving of mail is restarted.
• Unable to connect
State of normally completing sending (SMTP)/receiving
(POP3) of mail. This state remains the same until a
subsequent sending/receiving of mail is restarted.
Allows the user to input the IP Address of incoming mail server
POP3 Server
connected on POP3 protocol.
Address
Allows the user to input the user name for incoming mail
POP User Name
server up to 15 bytes of alphanumeric characters.
Allows the user to input the password for incoming mail server
POP Password
up to 15 bytes of alphanumeric characters.
Allows the user to set the polling interval to check whether new
Stauts E-mail
emails are sent to incoming mail server. The interval range is
Sending Interval
from 1 to 255 minute(s).
Select On, when incoming mail server corresponds to APOP.
APOP Setting
Displays one of the following 5 messages according to the
POP3 Server
status of connection to the incoming mail server.
Connection
For information on what is displayed, see the SMTP Server
Connection.
• Disabled
• Connection in Progress
• Connecting...
• Ready
• Unable to connect
