The user can use the Control Panel to set the print mode, IP address, and Power Saver
Mode, and print out a printer settings list.
This section explains the name and function of each component on the control panel.
Display
Messages showing printer
and setting statuses are
displayed here.
Online lamp (green)
Indicates the data processing
status.
Printing is enabled.
ON
Printing is disabled.
OFF
Online button
This button selects online or
offline mode.

In the offline mode, press this
button to go to the menu screen.

Cause transition from one menu
or candidate value to another.
Data lamp (green)
Indicates the printing processing status
Indicates that printing is in
ON
progress but no data is being received.
This lamp also comes on when
printing is being suspended.
Indicates that printing is in progress
Blinking
and data is being received.
Indicates that printing is not performed.
OFF
Error lamp (red)
Indicates printer abnormality.
Indicates that there is an error such as
ON
paper jam that can be remedied by the
customer.
Indicates that there is an error that
Blinking
cannot be remedied by the customer.
Indicates that the printer is normal.
OFF
Power Saver lamp (green)
This lamp comes on upon transition to Power
Save Time Mode 2.
Cancel
Cancel button
(Exit Power Saver)
Press this button on the menu screen to
return to the preceding menu.
Eject/Set
In the offline mode, press this button to
stop printing.
Press this button also to cancel the power
save mode.
Eject/Set button
On the menu screen, press this button to
go to the next menu.
If a candidate value is set, press this button
to fix the value.
During printing, the remaining data is
discarded forcibly.
