2.5 Setting Up the USB Port
Setting the USB Port
Procedure

Turn on the printer.
The computer automatically detects the new hardware and installs necessary software.

On the Start menu, point to Settings and click Printers.
The Printers window opens.

Select the DocuPrint 181/211 printer icon, then click Properties on the

File menu.
The Properties dialog box appears.

FXUSB_x_DocuPrint n: (USB Printer Port) now appears in Print to
the following port on the Details tab. Select this port.
In FXUSB_x_ ..., a value from 0 to FF appears in the position indicated
by [x]. The value varies according to the environment.
181 or 211 is displayed in the place of [n] in DocuPrint n

Verify the connection by printing a test page.
Click Apply and confirm settings, then click Print Test Page on the
General tab.
A dialog box appears confirming whether printing has been properly completed.

Verify the printing result, then click the OK button if printing has been
properly completed.
