4.2 Loading Paper into a Paper Cassette

Hold the length guide clip by fingers,
and shift it inward. Then match it with
the size stamp of the loaded paper.
Insert the edges of paper under the projection of the
length guide clip.
Correctly match the length guide with the paper
width. If the length guide is dislocated, paper are not
transferred normally, and it may result in paper jam.

Close the cassette cover.
Be sure to close the cassette cover. If the cover is not
closed, paper may be shifted.

Insert the cassette until it hits against
the inside of the printer.
Confirm that the cassette is securely pressed in the
inside.
Adhere the paper size label fitting to the loaded paper.

Adjust the size setting dial of the
cassette feeder to the size and
direction of the loaded paper.
Be sure to adjust the size setting dial to the size and
direction of the loaded paper.
Do not operate the size setting dial during printing.
The printer may malfunction.
Refer to the figure below to confirm the direction of paper.
