Faxing Problems—Receiving
Cannot receive documents automatically?

Is MANUAL RX showing on the LCD display?
If so, open all three one-touch dialling panels and press Receive

Is the receive mode set to AUTO RX?

Cannot receive manually?

Is your unit in copy mode?
Press the FAX button to light the FAX lamp.

Have you left a document on the platen glass?
If so, lift the platen glass cover, remove the document and try
receiving again.

Did you press Start before you replaced the handset?
Replacing the handset before pressing Start disconnects the call. Try

Are part of the documents you receive cut off?

Are the document guides in your stack bypass set to the size of the
paper?
