to protect the
transfer file

ENTER A BOX NAME
Enter a file name up to
24 characters.
SPECIFY THE DESTINATION
Close all three one-touch
speed dialling panels,
then press a one-touch
speed dialling button or
press Coded Dial and
enter a three-digit code
registered with the
number of the fax unit
where you want
documents transferred.
The fax number(s) of the
destination fax unit(s)
must be registered for one-
touch or coded speed
dialling on your unit.
ENTER A 4-DIGIT ID NUMBER
Enter a four-digit
password (0000 to 9999)
to protect the transfer
file settings. Use of a
password is recommended.
This operation password
protects the transfer file
from unauthorised
access to your settings.
You will also need to
enter this password
when you put the unit in
document transfer
mode.
Default settings are shown in italic type.
