Redialling When the Line is Busy

Redialling occurs when the recipient's line is busy or there is no answer,
and your unit redials the number. There are two methods of redialling:
manual redialling and automatic redialling.

Manual Redialling

Automatic Redialling

If the other party's line is busy or if there is no answer, the unit waits two
minutes and then dials the same number again. This feature is called

automatic redialling.

What is Automatic Redialling?

After the initial dial attempt, the unit will wait two minutes and try to
dial again. If the second attempt fails, the unit will again wait for two
minutes and make a final attempt to complete the call.
Auto redial can be turned off and on. The number of redialling attempts
and the time interval between attempts can be set up with the auto redial
feature. (1 p. 4-41)
If both redial attempts are unsuccessful, the unit will cancel the
transaction and print an Error TX Report to remind you that the
transmission was not completed. (1 p. 12-7)
