If you have set a transmission time(s) for the coded speed dialling code
you entered, the document will be scanned into memory, but will not be
sent until the closest preset time is reached. (1 TX TIME SETTING p. 3-30)
Here are some important points you should keep in mind when using
coded speed dialling:
The unit will not dial the number registered for the coded speed
dialling until you set the document on the unit for sending. If you
press the Coded Dial button and enter the code before you load the
document, the unit will prompt you:
RESOLUTION
If you pressed Coded Dial and entered a code where no number has
been registered, the unit tells you:
RESOLUTION
Chapter 3
The unit will automatically begin scanning the document into
memory five seconds after entering the code. If you want the
unit to begin scanning without this delay, press Start to scan
immediately. (If you prefer the unit never to scan a document
automatically after five seconds, you can turn this feature off.)
(1 TIME OUT p. 14-18)
You will see a series of brief, alternating messages that tell you
the unit is scanning the document, and the fax number it is
sending to. The In Use/Memory lamp blinks to show that the
unit is sending.
