Adjusting
the exposure
manually
You
can manually
adjust
and
set the exposure.
Normally
the exposure
is automatically
adjusted.
Adjust
the
exposure
manually
in the fbllowing
cases:
When
the
subject
is backlit
When
shooting
subjects
and
dark
backgrounds
When
recording
dark
pictures
(e.g.
night
scenes)
faithfiflly
(1) Set the POWER
switch
to CAMERA
or MEMORY/NETWORK
(DCR TRV50
only), press
EXPOSURE.
The exposure
indicator
appears.
(2) Turn the SEL/PUSH
EXEC dial to adjust
the brightness.

To return
to the automatic
exposure
Press EXPOSURE.
When you adjust the exposure
manually,
the following
functions
do not work:
Color Slow Shutter
Backlight
Your camcorderautomatically returns to the automatic exposure:
If you change the PROGRAM AE.
If you slide NIGHTSHOT to ON.
