Recording a picture
Recording with the self timer starts in 10 seconds automatically. You can also use the
Remote Commander fur this operation.
(1) In the standby, press FN and select PAGE2 (p. 24).
(2) Press SELFTIMER.
The _ (self timer) indicator appears oi1 the screen.
(3) Press START/STOP.
The self=timer starts counting down fl'om 10 with a bee[). In the last two
seconds of the countdown, the bee[) gets faster, then recording starts
automatically.

To stop the countdown
Press START/STOP.
To restart tile countdown, press START/STOP again.
To cancel the self-timer
Press SELFTIMER so that the xQ) (selftimer) indicator disappears fi'oIn the screen while
your camcorder is in tile standby. You cannot cancel self timer using tile Remote
Commander.
Note
Tile self timer is automatically canceled when:
The self timer recording is finished.
The POWER switch is set to OFF (CHG) or VCR.
When the POWER switch is set to MEMORY/NETWORK (DCR-TRV50 only)
Yon can also record still images on "Memory Stick"s with the self" timer (p. 134).
