Focusing manually
To focus precisely
It is easier to %cus on suhjects if you adjust the zoom to shoot at tile "W" (wide angle)
after fiocusing at tile "T" (telephoto) position.
When you shoot close to the subject
Focus at the end of the "W" (wide angle) position.

when recording
a distant
suhject
--" when tile snbject is too close to fiocus oil
Focal distance information
is displayed for about three seconds on the screen in
the following
cases:
When switching
tile focus adjustment
mode fl'om autofocus
to manual
When turning
the focus ring
Focal distance information
This information
aids focusing
if it is not easy to focus on the subject, fbr example,
when recording
in the dmk. Use this infbrmation
as a rough guide
to get a sharp
fkoCt/S.
You cannot get correct information
if you have attached
a conversion
lens (optional)
to
your
canlcorder.
