Recording video or TV programs
Using the i.LINK cable (DV connecting cable)
Simply connect tile i.LINK cable (DV connecting c_d_le)(optional) to _,DV IN/OUT j_lck
on your camcorder and to DV OUT oil the DV products. With a digital to digital
connection, video and audio signals are transmitted in digital form for high quality
editing.
(1) hlsert a blank tape (or a tape you want to record over) into your camcorder,
and insert the recorded tape into the VCR.
(2) Set tile POWER switch to VCR on your camcorder.
(3) Press • REC and the button on its right simultaneously on your camcorder,
then inmlediately press I I on your camcorder.
(4) Press I_ on tile VCR to start playback. The picture to be recorded appears on
tile screen.
(5) Press I I on your camcorder at the scene where you want to stat't recording
fl'om.

When you have finished dubbing a tape
Press • on both your camcorder and the VCR.
Using the Remote Commander
In step 3, press • REC _md MARK simultaneously, then immediately press II. In step 5,
press II at the scene where you want to start recording from.
