Step 1 Preparing the power supply
Use tile hattery pack after charging it fbr your camcorder.
Your camcorder operates only with the "lnfokllHIUM" battery pack (M series).
See page 223 for details of "InIoLITHIUM" battery pack.
(1) Open the DC IN jack cover and connect the AC power adaptor supplied with
your camcorder to the DC IN jack with the plug's • mark facing up.
(2) Colmect the power cord to the AC power adaptor.
(3) Colmect the power cord to the wall outlet.
(4) Set the POWER switch to OFF (CHG). Charging begins. The remaining battery
time is indicated in minutes on the display window.
When the remaining hatte W indicator changes to _, normal charge is completed. To
flfily charge the batte W (full charge), leave the batte W pack attacbed for about one hour
after normal charge is completed tmtil FULL appears in the display window. Frilly
charging the battery allows you to use tbe battery longer than usual.

After charging the battery pack
Disconnect the AC power adaptor fi'om the DC IN jack on yore camcorder.
