Preventing accidental erasure
- Image protection
Yon can protect selected images to prevent accidental erasure of important images.
Before operation
Insert a "Memory Stick" into your camcorder.
(1) Set the POWER switch to MEMORY/NETWORK (DCR-TRV50 only) or VCR.
Make sure that tile LOCK switch is set to tile left (unlock) position.
(2) Press INDEX oil your camcorcier to display tile index.
(3) Press o--, MARK. Tile screen to protect tile image appears.
(4) Press the image you want to protect. Tile "o-,," appears oil the protected
image.

Press EXIT.
To cancel image protection
Press the image yon want to cancel image protection in step 4 again. Tile "c---."

Note
Formatting erases all infom-lation on the "Memory Stick," including the protected
image data. Before tbrmatting a "Memo_ T Stick", check its contents.
If the write-protect tab on the "Memory Stick" is set to LOCK
Yon cannot protect images.
