Using the fader
(1) When
fading
in [a]
In tile standby,
press
FADER
until the desired
fhder indicator
flashes.
When
fading
out

In the recording,
press FADER
until the desired
fhder indicator
flashes.
Tile indicator
changes
as follows:

The last selected fader is indicated fh'st of all.
Press START/STOP.
The f_:_derindicator stops flashing.
After fhde in/out ends, your camcorder automatically
returns to the normal
mode.

To cancel
the fader
Befbre pressing START/STOP, press FADER until the indicator disappears.
Note
You cannot use tile fbliowing f\mctions while using the fader. Also, you cannot use the
fader while using tile following f\mctions:
Digital effect
Super NightShot
Color Slow Shutter
Tape photo recording
Recording still images on a "Memo1T Stick" in the tape recording or tape recording
standhy
Recording with tile flash
Interval recording
Frame recording
When you selectOVERLAP,WIPE, or DOT
Your camcorder automatically stores the image recorded on a tape. While the image is
being stored, the indicators flash fasL and the playback picture disappeals. At this
stage, the picture may not be recorded clearly, depending on the tape condition.
