The Sequence Number field is a 64 bit incrementing value starting from the time the sys-
tem log was created or last initialized. Resetting the log does not affect this value.
The Event Number is a 4 byte encoded value that includes bits for drive and controller
inclusion, event priority and the event value. The Event Number field is encoded as fol-
