Logon Dialog
Use the following steps to logon to Spheras Storage Director:

Type your User name. Select a user name with access privileges on the server that correspond to the desired access
level in Spheras Storage Director. User names are encrypted when transmitted across the network. There is no limit
on the User name length. See 3.1 Security access levels on page 45 for more information.

Enter your password in the login dialog. Passwords are encrypted when transmitted across the network. See 3.2
Passwords on page 45 for more information.

Click OK or press the Enter key to logon.
Setting Up Server Groups
3.3.1
This section describes how to setup connections to server groups. A maximum of 100 server groups can be created. By
creating server groups, you can organize your storage structure. For example, you could create server groups for
business units, physical locations, or operating systems.
