Running a Logical Drive Consistency Check

Run a consistency check on each of your fault tolerant logical drives on a regular schedule. Deciding on how often to
check your drives depends on the type of data. Run a consistency check more often if the cost of losing data is very
high, and run it less often if the cost of losing data is low. Running a consistency check lessens the exposure to possible
data loss situations. A consistency check scans the logical drive to determine whether consistency data has become
corrupted and needs to be restored.
