XEROX DOCUPRINT NPS GUIDE TO CONFIGURING AND MANAGING THE SYSTEM
If the Xerox service technician requires access to the UNIX shell on
your printer controller while servicing it via the modem, you will need
to enter this command.
Access level Administrator
Syntax Enable Remote Shell
You will be prompted to enter the Unix root password.
Arguments None
Use this command to disable access to the UNIX shell once the
Xerox service technician has completed the remote service session.

Syntax Disable Remote Shell
You will be prompted to enter the Unix root password.
