• When [a+b i ] or [r∠θ] is selected for S > [Complex Mode], fraction calculation results always are
simplified before being displayed, even if S > [Simplify] is set to [Manual].
Function Minimum FMin(,,)
Returns, in list form, the coordinates of the minimum values of f x at a ≤ x ≤ b .
Syntax: FMin( f x , a , b [, n ]) n : Calculation accuracy ( n = integer from 1 to 9)
Not allowed within this syntax: d/dx, d

Precautions
• Discontinuous points or sections with drastic fluctuation can adversely affect precision or cause an
error.
• Inputting a larger value for n increases the precision of the calculation, but it also increases the
amount of time required to perform the calculation.

Returns, in list form, the coordinates of the maximum values of f x at a ≤ x ≤ b .
Syntax: FMax( f x , a , b [, n ]) n : Calculation accuracy ( n = integer from 1 to 9)
The items that are not allowed within this syntax and precautions are the same as those for FMin.
