• The following types of measurements can be pasted into a screen image: coordinates, distance/
length, slope, radius, circumference, perimeter, area, angle, supplementary angle, equation, vector
components.
• The pasted measurement is prefixed with a name (or symbol) depending on its type. In the example
above, ∠: is appended to indicate an angle. "Area:" is appended to indicate an area, and "Eq:" is
appended to indicate an equation or vector components. You can use the measurement box to edit
an appended name (or symbol). See
for information about editing operations.

Displaying the Result of a Calculation that Uses On-screen Measurement Values
You can use the procedure in this section to perform calculations using the angle value, line length, and other
measurement values attached to an object, and display the result on the screen.
Example 1:
To input the expression that determines the sum of one angle of a triangle and its supplementary
angle and paste the result on the screen.
1. Draw a triangle and paste the measurements of the ∠BAC angle and
supplementary angle on the screen.
