Power supply through trailing cable
If the cab does not have its own power supply (voltage too high or
insufficient power reserves) or is not suitable to supply power to the SREL3
ADV system for other reasons, the power supply must be provided via the
trailing cable.
Option 1: Tapping the power supply for the controller
This configuration dispenses with the need for a separate power supply
unit for the reader and SmartOutput modules. The data lines are
connected as described in the sections on the reader (see
