When the MIFARE chip is used to log on to the reader, only those relays
which the MIFARE chip is authorised to use are actuated.

which the transponder is authorised to use are actuated.
Signalling from the reader in the SREL3 ADV system does not indicate
whether the door is open or closed in flip-flop mode. Even so, users can see
whether the door is open or closed. To do so, the relay output is also used
to help activate the power supply for signalling. If an electric strike opens
when electric current is applied, for example, the power supply is activated
by the relay. The same (activated) power supply can be also used for any
signalling system, such an LED or light bulb.
