System Board Removal

Remove the system board per the following steps.
1. Remove the following components as previously described:

side panel
n
expansion slot boards
n
internal device cage
n
3 1/2-inch drive bracket
n
SIMMs
Remove and label all cables connected to the system board. Appendix A provides

the connector identifiers and pin assignments for each connector.
Remove the eight screws that hold the system board to the system unit chassis.
3.
Remove the system board from the system unit (see Figure Section 5-26).
