Power Supply Removal

Remove the power supply as follows.
1. Remove the side panel as previously described (see "Side Panel Removal").
Remove the internal drive cage as previously described.

Unplug the two power cables attached to the system board's connectors. See
3.
Appendix A for connector locations.
Unplug the power cables from all installed devices.

5. Cut any tie wraps that may be securing the power cables to the system unit chassis
or drive brackets.
6. Remove the four screws securing the power supply to the system unit chassis (see
Figure Section 5-24).
Pivot the left side of the power supply toward you to free it from the metal tabs

on the right side. Remove the power supply from the system unit.
