Module Type Definition

Name Pin # Description
TYPE0# C54 The TYPE pins indicate to the Carrier Board the Pin-out Type that is implemented
TYPE1# C57 on the Module. The pins are tied on the Module to either ground (GND) or are
TYPE2# D57 no-connects (NC).
For Pin-out Type 1 and Type 10 that lack a CD connector,
these pins are not present (X)
TYPE2#
The Carrier Board should implement combinatorial logic that monitors the
module TYPE pins and keeps power off (e.g deactivates the ATX_ON signal for an
ATX power supply) if an incompatible module pin-out type is detected. The
Carrier Board logic may also implement a fault indicator such as an LED.
TYPE10# A97 In case of a type 10 module this pin signal is tied to GND through a 47K resistor
on the module.
