2 Connect the adapter to your computer using the Ethernet cable and USB cable.
If your computer does not have a USB port, you can use the power adapter that comes with the Wi-Fi
adapter for power.
3 Wait until both the Power and LAN LEDs on the Wi-Fi adapter are solid green.
4 Make sure the computer gets the IP address.
5 Open your browser.
The NETGEAR WNCE2001 Wi-Fi adapter setup page is displayed automatically. Refer to the
NETGEAR WNCE2001 User Guide
Adapter set up page.
6 Follow the instructions on the setup page.
7 After completing the setup, disconnect the Ethernet and USB cables from your computer.
8 Connect the Ethernet and USB cables on the WNCE2001 to the VVX phone.
If your VVX phone doesn't have a USB port or the USB port is disabled, you can use the power
adapter that comes with the Wi-Fi adapter to power the unit.
Note: Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) is a simple and secured way to connect a device to an existing
network. If you have a NETGEAR router, this feature is called Push 'N' Connect. Look for the
symbol on the router to make sure the NETGEAR router supports WPS. For non-NETGEAR routers,
refer to the user manual to determine if the router supports WPS.

Phone
The Polycom VVX Expansion Modules, with a LCD color display, are consoles you can connect to VVX
business media phones to add additional lines. VVX Expansion Modules enable you to handle large call
volumes on a daily basis and expand the functions of your phone.
